The planet is up against both a climate crisis and a nature crisis. Solving these two crises while feeding a growing population will require a fundamental transformation of the way we produce food. During a challenging 2022, Yara’s people, culture and business model have continued to create value for our shareholders, farmers, suppliers, and society at large, while making progress towards Growing a Nature-Positive Food Future.

On the road to climate neutrality

To reach our target of becoming climate-neutral by 2050, reducing our own direct emissions is key. The massive work to reach our commitments currently counts 102 projects at plants in all regions at an estimated investment of USD 320 million. In 2022, several projects were completed, moving us one step closer to climate neutrality. Read more in the Sustainability report.
