Code of practice for corporate governance
Yara has adopted the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance (NUES). The Corporate Governance section in our annual report reviews all elements of our compliance with the code.
What is the Norwegian code of practice?
The Norwegian corporate governance board publish the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance, for any new regulations, legislation or information.
The code of practice is designed to provide guidance on 15 main topics for Norwegian listed companies and savings banks. Companies must either describe how they comply with the code or explain why they are not. The code also requires companies to have a corporate governance report covering all the code's sections.
