Luis Alfredo Pérez (born 1965) has been appointed Executive Vice President Yara Africa & Asia, from July 2025. Luis Alfredo joined Yara in 1996 and comes from the position of Senior Vice President Africa. Prior positions in the company include Commercial Director Mediterranean, Country Manager Philippines, Customer Segment Manager Continental Europe, Country Manager Spain & Portugal, and Regional Market Director Latin America.

Throughout his career, one of Luis Alfredo’s key focus areas has been the development of partnerships, most recently in the core business, digital, and innovation & impact areas across the African continent.

Luis Alfredo holds a Plastics Technology degree from the TGM Institute of Technology (Vienna, Austria) and a Business Administration degree from the Francisco Marroquin University (UFM) in Guatemala, his country of origin.
