Trond Berger
Trond Berger (born 1957) is CEO of Blommenholm Industrier. Previously, he was Investment Director at Blommenholm Industrier (2019– 2020). From 1999 to 2019, Mr. Berger served as Executive Vice President of Schibsted ASA, including as CFO with responsibility for sustainability. Previous positions also include Investment Director with Stormbull (1998), Executive Vice President (CFO) of Nycomed ASA, and Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at Nycomed Amersham (1997–98), and Partner at Arthur Andersen (1981–92).
Mr. Berger is also Head of the Nomination Committee at Vend Marketplaces, and Chair of the Board of Polaris Media. He serves as Chair of the Board of Bertil O. Steen Holding, Arctic Asset Management, and the Chair of the Nomination Committee of Schibsted ASA as well as member of the board of Sayonara.
Trond Berger holds Master’s degree in economics from the BI Norwegian School of Management, he is a state-authorized public accountant and a graduate of the Norwegian Armed Forces’ Officer Candidate School.
He is independent of Yara's senior executives, Yara's main shareholders and Yara's significant business associates.
