Building trust towards Growing a Nature-Positive Food Future
With the combined impact of socioeconomic challenges, geopolitical uncertainty and the climate crisis, an urgent call for trust and cooperation is needed, now more than ever.
At Yara International, we work with millions of farmers across the world to support the shift to sustainable agriculture, improve soil health, and increase nutrient use efficiency to make every nutrient count. At the same time, we are spearheading the transition to the hydrogen economy, through fertilizers produced using renewable electricity and low-carbon fuel. We cannot tackle the immediate food and energy crisis, and transform our food systems, alone.
This is why, at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos, Yara International will actively promote discussions with decision makers across both public and private sectors.
In January 2024 in WEF Davos, we will focus on:
- How to collaboratively solve the food crisis, in the short-term and, at the same time, transform and decarbonize the food system.
- How to collaboratively solve the energy crisis, in the short-term and, at the same time, enable the energy transition by accelerating investments into renewables.
It’s not just about innovating new breakthrough technologies, but also about implementing the many solutions that already exist.
