Yara Marine scrubbers reduce SOx emissions to 0,1%. They will make any ship ready for IMO’s new sulfur regulations for 2020. Get a tailor-made installation that:
Quality and competitive prices make the Yara Marine scrubber the obvious choice for effective and efficient SOx reduction. The scrubbers offer the safest handling, as well as the highest quality anticorrosion steel components with the same lifetime as the ship in which it is installed. Because of this, we can offer extended guarantees against corrosion.
By using scrubbers from Yara, ships can continue to operate on Heavy Fuel Oil avoiding the more costly Marine Gas Oil. The cost saving per ton fuel consumed is expected to rise even higher as the 0,1% sulfur limit is implemented.
Trust our experience gained from installing nearly 100 scrubber systems worldwide, all compliant with IMO legislation.
The scrubbers are tailor-made to any engine size/vessel, and with an extremely small footprint, do not affect passenger and/or cargo space.
Our inline scrubber can handle any sulfur content in the fuel up to 3,5% in both open and closed loop mode.
Yara offer the only scrubber on the market that allows magnesium oxide as alkali in closed loop. Your operational cost using magnesium oxide will be only ¼ of the corresponding cost of using much more dangerous caustic soda.
Other benefits include:
Because our in-line scrubbers have no moving parts or bypass, they are easily installed in the funnel area. The inline scrubber system only requires the same space as the silencer (approximately) that it replaces, simplifying installation.
We provide any required service anywhere the vessel may be.
Get a solution that will reduce NOx emissions from a vessel by up to 99% using Selective Catalytic Reduction technology (SCR).
