Yara's sponsorships

Yara views sponsorships as an important part of its corporate citizenship goals and its efforts to reach out to the communities where it operates. The company has several long-term sponsorships in place and is continuously evaluating new ones.

As a general rule, Yara believes its sponsorships should be relevant to its business and linked to its focus on global issues such as food security, the environment, health and energy.

The company looks for partnerships that will ensure mutual benefits for both parties and aims to transform sponsorships into partnerships, which can in turn become new avenues for transfer of knowledge both ways.

Local initiatives need not be business-related and can be handled locally with support from corporate communications.
