Yara supplies process solutions that purify and stabilize water and reduce corrosion in the pipes that transport it to consumers, thus enhancing its quality.
Process- and wastewater contain organic substances, and necessary nutrients are often added to attain optimal biological purification.
Yara provides flocculants in the form of polymers to de-water sludge. These are available both in powder or liquid form, and need to be used with required protective equipment.
Yara also supplies organic coagulants that are used to remove suspended materials and to condition sludge, as well as polyacrylamides (flocculants) for the sedimentation, flotation and draining of sludge.
