Employee satisfaction

 

Improving communication within Yara and ensuring that we really know how our workforce feels about their jobs is another vital aspect of running a thriving company.

Yara carries out an employee satisfaction survey each year in order to measure our performance against other companies. We are using the widely accepted Denison Survey for the third time, which has allowed us to chart our steady progress and compare results with other major firms.

 

Improving communication

This survey is carried out by Denison Consulting, which sends a copy of the questionnaire to Yara employees in the late autumn every year. The Denison survey is broken down to department level, enabling many leaders to have key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to the result of the survey.

 

Our goal is to ensure that our strategy, vision and values are communicated and understood throughout the organisation. The 2006 results show a continued improvement in these target areas.
