Through good governance

At Yara we recognize our responsibility to manage all aspects of our business in an open manner and in accordance with all relevant legislation. We have therefore established company-wide practices that ensure all Yara employees, directors and managers act in the interests of the company and our shareholders, and that hold managers accountable to investors and employees regarding the use of company assets. We are committed to managing the company in the interests of our shareholders, management, employees and other parties with an interest in our business.

Our Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for managing our affairs and ensuring that we meet our obligations. Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Code of Conduct provide guidelines for our behavior and define roles and relationships between management, board and other involved parties.

Yara is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and is subject to the Norwegian securities legislation. Our financial reporting is done in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). We also comply with the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance, which exceeds the legal requirements.
