Air treatment

NOx emissions create acid rain, smog or ground level ozone in the

industrialized world.

We are the largest European producer of reducing agents based on Urea and Ammonia. Marketed under the trade name NOxCare and Air1®, whose high purity guarantees the absence of metals or other substances that could modify the product during storage or damage the catalysts used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems.

These products are suitable for both stationary and transport related applications. The NOx gases can for some people be a health problem related to occupational exposure. The health of our planet and the human environment depends very much on the quality of our atmoshpere. This issue has been given increasing focus. Much is done on SO2 and most national government have given commitments and are now enforcing legislation to reduce NOx emissions and improve the air quality.

The oxides of Nitrogen, NOx, are mainly emitted from the burning of fuel, e.g. from coal and oil fired power plants or fromdiesel/heavy fuel oil engines for trucks and ships. There are numerous ways to reduce such NOx emissions and NOxCareTM  ,ammonia and Urea based chemicals, have for years been used to turn the unwanted NOx into harmless nitrogen and water.
