Packaging food products in a gas atmosphere (MAP - Modified Atmosphere Packaging) results in a prolonged shelf life of the foodstuffs and at the same time the quality is retained.
MAP of fresh food products using technology and gases will improve product quality, prolong shelf life and help to add value to your products. The principle of MAP is to remove the air from the product package and replace it with a gas, or a gas mixture, with quality enhancing capabilities. The packaging method and material have to be suitable for MAP.
