Air treatment

NOx emissions create acid rain, smog or ground level ozone in the industrialized world. The NOx gases can for some people be a health problem related to occupational exposure. The health of our planet and the human environment depends very much on the quality of our atmosphere. This issue has been given increasing focus. Much is done on SO2 and most national governments have given commitments and are now enforcing legislation to reduce NOx emissions and improve the air quality.

The oxides of nitrogen, NOx, are mainly emitted from the burning of fuel, e.g. from coal and oil fired power plants or from diesel/heavy fuel oil engines for trucks and ships. There are numerous ways to reduce such NOx emissions and our NOxCareTM  ammonia and urea based chemicals have for years been used to turn the unwanted NOx into harmless nitrogen and water.
