Ms. Harstad (born 1957) is Senior VP and Managing Director of DNV Research & Innovation, Norway, responsible for strategic research and innovation activities since 2006; previously responsible for the DNV business area Technology Services, 2002–06; at DNV Consulting 2001; planning, development and marketing in DNV’s oil, gas and process industry segment, 1999–2000; senior management positions in environment and safety at several DNV units, 1993–98. She holds an MSc degree in Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH). Ms. Harstad is a board member of KapNord and TGS-NOPEC.
