Chief Communications and Branding Officer
Mrs. Slaatten has served as Senior VP and Chief Communications and Branding Officer since October 2009. From January 2008 she was Vice President Corporate Communication, heading the Corporate Communications department. Before joining Yara, she was President of the Norwegian Nurses Organization, 1998-2007, and Chief Negotiator and Director of the Department of Negotiation in the same organization, 1995-1998. From 1984-1995 she held various positions within the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities. Mrs. Slaatten holds an MBA in Brand Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), 2007, an Bc degree in nursing,1981, Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Management ,1984, and organization and project management at UIB/UIO,1997. She has held numerous board positions and honorary posts.
